This autumn view shows the Gapstow Bridge, as well as the famed Plaza Hotel and the glow of skyscrapers rising from above the Park's trees. The bridge was designed by Howard & Caudwell in 1896 and is built of Manhattan schist. Its span is 44 feet with a 12-foot high arch.
